I’m a small-town guy who honestly just loves people, down to the bottom of my heart. Hi, I’m Fernando Lopez, a State Farm agent in Watsonville, CA also serving nearby areas in Aptos, Capitola, Soquel, Gilroy, Santa Cruz, Morgan Hill and Salinas. I’ve been in the State Farm family for over 17 years, starting out as a business insurance rep before deciding to become an agent myself. I opened my Watsonville office in 2014, with zero customers and no friends nearby, just the dream of having my own business. Six years after this area opened its arms to welcome me, I feel like Watsonville is my new hometown! I’ve gotten to know each of our customers in a way that warms my heart.

When you drop by my office, you’ll notice that you really are treated like family here. My team and I believe in greeting everyone with a smile, having fun, and really listening to people. I’m passionate about forming relationships, explaining policies, and finding out exactly what my customers need, whether they’re young families, business owners or anybody else. We have deep experience in the business sector, and my friendly team and I are happy to answer any questions you have throughout the insurance process, in English or Spanish.

When I’m not helping out my neighbors in the office, I’m either spending time with family and friends or outside enjoying nature. I love taking weekend visits to see my family back in Greenfield, going for rides on my bike, camping and road tripping, or just playing video games at home with my cat, Smokey, on my lap.
